Jeanne Heuving
Jeanne Heuving has published widely on twentieth century poetry and poetics, including the book Omissions Are Not Accidents: Gender in the Art of Marianne Moore. Her essay on Leslie Scalapino has been formative for her new book project, Restive Eros: Poetic Possession and Dispossession in the Twentieth Century. Her cross genre writing, Gaudy Night, appears in HOW2: 4 in the New Writings section edited by Carla Harryman. She is on the faculty of the University of Washington, Bothell, and on the graduate faculty of the University of Washington. She is a recipient of NEH and Fulbright research grants, having just been awarded the H.D. Fellowship in American and English literature at the Beinecke Library at Yale for next year.
